Princess Mary Christmas Fund Gift Tin 1914

Princess Mary created an appeal to the public to raise funds to create these tins with gifts to be issued to all allied troops on the front line.
This particular tin is in fair to good condition it has some minor age related knocks to it. It retains some of the original laquer finish, the hinge works well and the lid shuts nicely.
Included with this tin is a .303 brass cartridge case dated 1918.

Victory Medal with ribbon all three medals are named: 692 PTE H.S. Cameron DURH. L.I.
Durham Light Infantry. This medals come with original cardboard packaging three lids and two bases. The War Medal has lovely blue toning these medals have never been worn and kept stored in fine condition. Also included is a Edward VII and Queen Alexandria Coronation medal August 9th 1902 Borough of Sunderland, JG Kirtley Mayor.
