British WWI Grenade No:23 Dated 1916

This is a very fine example of a early WWI No:23 hand grenade.
Firstly this is fully inert and safe.
The cast iron body is in nice condition with traces of the original laquer,
The base plug is correctly marked No. 23 - 1
Dated 11/16 H&B Ltd. ( Howard & Bullough Ltd. Acrington )
The spoon is the original WWI pattern the pin has the ring missing but that can be easily replaced.
A lovely clean example getting hard to find in this condition.
